Date publishedSeptember 20, 2024

A solar power plant with a capacity of 3.69 kWp was installed on the roof of a house in Gornji Stupnik.

The solar power plant with, a capacity of 3.69 kWp, has been installed on the roof of a house in Gornji Stupnik, which is only half an hour's drive from Zagreb. Due to its geographical location, it has an excellent solar potential of 1150 kWh/m2, which means that one kilowatt of installed power in this location produces 1150 kilowatt hours of electricity per year. For example, in Dalmatia, a power plant of the same power would produce 1,400 kWh per year, while in Germany, which has much, much lower solar potential, the same power plant would produce only 800 kWh per year due to the weaker insolation of that area.
